My wife and I would like to let you know just how pleased we are with the service and commitment we received from both Mr. Jerry Stoffer and Mr. Dave Holbrook (Countrywide Home Loans) and their associated staffs. We moved this summer from California and I found Mr. Stoffer by searching Realtor.com by qualifications held by local realtors. He was one of the two most qualified agents listed on the site and lived up to our expectations in every way. He found us a great home the first day of looking that exceeded our expectations and went to work immediately to get the best deal possible. There were a number of times he would call to inform us that he was able to negotiate on closing costs or that home repairs would be compensated with a payment from the seller. It was great to have an agent who had already �sold� us on the house continue to negotiate to get a better deal. We were well taken care of throughout the home purchasing process despite buying the home while still being in California. We knew Mr. Stoffer was looking out for our needs when he made sure even the smallest details were handled. He called periodically to make sure that we were up to date on the home purchase process and even made it a point to make sure the lawn was watered before we moved in. Jerry�s extensive experience saved us from a problem of our own making when our mortgage through our local California broker was not going to be able to make the escrow timeline. Jerry had already anticipated that we may have a difficult time getting an out of state lender to properly process a Florida loan so he introduced us to Mr. Holbrook of Countrywide.

Dave had spoken to us during our house hunting trip to Orlando while we searched for our home but in no way tried to pressure us into working with him. He understood that we wanted to work with our longtime broker if at all possible but was more than willing to help explain Florida loan requirements and procedures to us. Tara and I remembered Dave�s no pressure assistance and asked if he would be able to help us secure a loan at the last minute when our original loan plan fell through. He quickly went to work and was able to get a great loan completed prior to closing in a matter of days and was able to offer us an interest buy down option that made sense for us. It is difficult to find someone who will provide their assistance even though they are not working for you. His invaluable assistance, no pressure help coupled with his ability to get a great loan at the last minute really rounded out our exceptional experience working with RE/MAX. Thank you again for helping us make Orlando our home and we look forward to working with Jerry, Dave and the rest of the RE/MAX team and associates again in the future.

I strongly recommend Jerry & Irene Stoffer to anyone who is selling or buying a house, and have recommend the Stoffers to many of my friends. When it came time to purchase my first house, a friend put me in touch with Jerry. Getting Jerry on board to help me with the purchase turned out to be the smartest decision I made in the entire process.

Although I know that my purchase did not earn Jerry any huge commissions, he treated me as though I was his most important client. Jerry went above and beyond the normal duties of a real estate agent, and explained to me, step by step, the process of purchasing a home for the very first time. Often, Jerry would return my calls long after business hours were over, and patiently answer all of my many questions and address my many concerns. When I encountered problems and delays with the builder of my home, Jerry often did my dirty work for me, tirelessly prodding the builder and others to provide better service. When I encountered a few last minute unexpected snags on the day of closing, it was Jerry who handled the situation and made sure my title company resolved the problem. Even after closing, Jerry has continued to stay in touch, and offer his sagely advise on other home related issued which have arisen.

The Stoffers are veteran real estate agents who have been involved in the Orlando community for years. Their experience and familiarity with the area, the market, and the people associated with Orlando real estate proved to be invaluable. Jerry's tireless efforts, wisdom, and savvy advice were my greatest asset in my search for a new home. Without his help, I know that my first experience in home buying would have proven infinitely more stressful. There is no question that I will call on the Stoffers again the next time I buy or sell a home, and I would strongly encourage anyone else to do the same.
